Friðgeir Einarsson (*1981) is a Reykjavík-based writer, director and performer. He graduated from the Iceland Academy of the Arts (Theatermaking) 2008 and holds a BA-degree in Icelandic language & literature. Einarsson has performed with various artists and collectives, including Erna Ómarsdóttir, Me&My Friends and 16 Lovers. In 2012 he founded Kriðpleir Theater Group. The name of the group derives from his surname. Friðgeir has published to books: a selection of short stories called "Thank you for letting me know" (Takk fyrir að láta mig vita), and a novel called "The Chairman of the Residents´ Association" (Formaður húsfélagsins).
